I am Reverend dr. Lajos Békefy, a reformed pastor and writer from Budapest/Hungary. In 2014, a book, written by two German journalists (J. Kubitschek and J. Kühl) about Mama Maggie, the Coptic Mother Teresa, was published in my translation on the Hungarian book market. Now the management of the Reformed/Protestant cultural magazine Confessio has asked me to conduct interviews with important Christian personalities of today. In 2013, Mama Maggie very kindly accepted my request and gave a written interview to me and to the Evangelical Weekly. Ten years have passed since then. I would like to ask her briefly about these ten years. I understand that the autobiographical volume we published was handed over to Mama Maggie by State Secretary Dr. Azbej Tristan during their personal meeting. The next issue of Confessio will be published in September 2023. The interview must be completed no later than till August 20, the feast day of our state founding king, St. Stephen. In Christian brotherly confidence, please let me know if Mama Maggie agrees to the interview and then I will send the few questions right away. Asking for the Lord's blessing on Her, our God-blessed sister, on Her heart radiating the joy of Christ our Lord and on Her many tens of thousands of "spiritual children", I remain with you All in fraternal prayer.
